About Laren Baxt
Lauren Baxt is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 17 years of experience in property management, sales, and leasing across Upstate New York. As President of Property Management at Howard Group Management Co., Inc., she directs operations and strategy for a regional portfolio spanning retail, industrial, office, and mixed-use assets. Her work supports ownership groups, investors, and tenants across Albany, Saratoga, Columbia, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Schoharie, Greene, Fulton, and Montgomery counties.
In addition to her management leadership, Lauren is duly licensed with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Blake, Realtors, where she focuses on commercial property sales and leasing. She is an active member of the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers (CIREB) and the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS®, representing the Berkshire Hathaway commercial division in the Capital Region. Lauren also holds a Part 36 Receiver Certification through the New York State Unified Court System, underscoring her professional credibility in complex asset and property oversight.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Finance and Economics, Lauren continues the legacy of her father, Howard Carr, founder of The Howard Group, by upholding the firm’s longstanding reputation for integrity and service in commercial real estate throughout Upstate New York.
