Founded in 1922 by Mr. Samuel Blake, Blake Realty was incorporated in 1954. The first branch office opened in 1964, and by 1970 various specialized divisions served the diversified segments of the local real estate business. In the late 1970s and throughout the. 1980s, the company actively engaged in an extensive merger and acquisition campaign. Seeking to provide the highest level of client service, the company was successful in attracting affiliations with ten other real estate companies servicing diverse areas of northeastern New York State. Through these efforts, Blake attracted some of the top leaders in the industry to its management staff, including a past President of the National Association of Realtors. Our corporate office and our commercial division, Berkshire Hathaway Blake, Realtors® Commercial are headquartered at 8 Airline Drive in Albany. These are augmented by nine residential branch offices located throughout the Capital Region & North Country.
